Video consultations your hospital actually owns

CareMeet is a self-hosted telemedicine platform for Indian hospitals and clinics. Patient video never passes through a third-party vendor, there is no per-minute billing, and it connects to your existing hospital software with a single API call.

Built by Caresoft Systems Private Limited — hospital software used by 1,000+ hospitals across India and 12+ countries.

What is CareMeet?

CareMeet is a telemedicine video consultation platform for hospitals and clinics in India. It runs on infrastructure the hospital or Caresoft controls rather than a third-party video service, supports recording with patient consent under the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020, and integrates with hospital information systems through a single API.

Why hospitals choose it

No per-minute billing

Platforms that charge per participant-minute make teleconsultation more expensive the more successful it becomes. CareMeet is licensed per plan. Growth in consultation volume does not increase your video cost.

Your data stays yours

No third-party video vendor sits in the media path. Consultations run on infrastructure you or Caresoft control, in India, with recordings encrypted at rest and retention you configure.

Built for Indian networks

Calls degrade to audio rather than dropping. Video capture adapts to older reception-desk hardware. Firewall-restricted hospital networks are handled with TLS relay on port 443.

Integrates in a day

One API call creates a consultation and returns join links. Your existing software never touches video code. Already integrated across the Caresoft product range.

Consent enforced, not assumed

Recording cannot start until every participant's consent is stored, along with the exact wording they agreed to. Every view and download of a recording is logged.

Quality you can prove

Every session is scored for latency, packet loss and call quality. When a clinician reports a bad call, you can see what actually happened instead of guessing.

Common questions

What is CareMeet?

CareMeet is a self-hosted video consultation platform built for Indian hospitals and clinics. It runs on the hospital's own infrastructure or on Caresoft's cloud, integrates with hospital information systems, and supports recording with patient consent under the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020.

Does CareMeet charge per minute for video calls?

No. CareMeet is licensed per plan, not per minute. Because the media servers are self-hosted rather than rented from a third-party video vendor, there is no usage charge that scales with consultation volume.

Is patient video data sent to any third party?

No. Audio and video travel either directly between the two participants or through media servers operated by the hospital or by Caresoft in India. No video vendor sits in the media path, and recordings are stored encrypted within India.

Does CareMeet comply with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020?

Yes. The platform enforces what the guidelines require of software: the consulting doctor's identity and NMC registration number are shown to the patient, consent is captured and stored before any recording begins, and every consultation produces a retained record.

How does CareMeet handle poor internet connections?

CareMeet switches a struggling participant to audio-only rather than dropping the call. When bandwidth falls below a hospital-configurable threshold, video pauses and audio continues, then video resumes automatically once the connection recovers.
